Curacao Island gets a boost

The Caribbean as a whole may now be experiencing a bleak off-peak tourism season, but the island of Curacao still has its number of visitors going by the minute. To emphasize this boom, official estimates have pegged the arrival to be up by 30% this year.

The reason? It's filled with Venezuelans who are fleeing their home country's spiraling inflation and currency controls.
