When did you start your website and why?

One year ago in response to a perception that the average visitor to Barbados was curious bout not only visiting the country but investing to make money or having a second home, or even living in the country. This information and contacts are usually only available to the wealthy but there is also opportunity for working class individuals to obtain the secrets at almost no cost

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

Caribbean Success provides business, job and real estate information relating to non-nationals who want to relocate, work, retire of invest in Barbados and the Caribbean

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Researching and collecting all the information and ensuring the correctness.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Nothing was easy

What was your biggest mistake?

Not properly defining the market

Who maintains your website and why?

I do. Is a template site and easy to operate

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

We have been able to profit by selling information and providing a private network for investors, entrepreneurs, persons relocating or in vesting in a second home in the Caribbean.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

Obviously ecommerce presents an opportunity for every single person with a little internet savvy to become a global business person and opens a wider dimension of traditional approaches to selling.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Still to complicated and unaccessible , the good plans. Need to be more user friendly, one click

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

I depend on them entirely to help my business

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Search Engines registration Some online links and free ads

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Not much. I think it is a fairly dependable operation and will not change in response to the developers but to the needs of the users
